  1. Hey All, Has anyone found a plugin that will display the connection logs for technicians to a computer? Couple ways I can see this working: From the client Computer, you can see who connected, when and for how long. From the customer/site you can see all techs connections to all Computers, when and how long. Hoping something is out there.
  2. Thanks a million, cant wait for this going to save me a LOT of hassles. Outside of working from Automate, everything can do with working from session and host names, so if you ever feel like extending that it is definitely useful from a pure ScreenConnect side of things. Like said, our Automate ScreenConnect is easy, since that has the GUID's available. But the other 2 are not so easy. Your plugin makes it easy again
  3. This seams to be the only forum where this actually exists, so suppose I will ask it here; I am looking to use this plugin outside of Automate, as in I have a script which does some stuff, but this is all based on the hostname of the computer. There is no way for this script to get access to GUID. As this ScreenConnect install isnt the one thats part of Automate (we have 3 in total) Is it possible to add a hostname lookup function to the API that returns the GUID to be used in the rest of the scripts?
  4. Hey Guys, Having a bit of a 'mare trying to manage / map printers. We want to be able to silently map network printers that are on a print server. There is no Group Policy in play here (users are Azure AD joined). Anyone have a way around this? The way I can see this working (and would prefer not to go this route) is as follows: Download Drivers to local C:\ drive Run powershell as Admin: Add-PrinterDriver Run Console Execute: Add-Printer I want to avoid the Download of drivers to the C drive, but it is an option if we have to. This method also works should they not have a print server and want to connect direct to the printer. Thanks
  5. Since the import didnt work for me I found the commands. Here is what I stuck together.
  6. As above, does this work? I want to create some scripts to pull and display data. Some of which on the computers tab. If this is no longer working on the computer tab, does this mean we have to jump the hoops of creating a plugin just to have a tab?
  7. Since Automate has Patch Manager built in, it really shouldnt need Patch Remedy. We may just have to script the installer.
  8. Hey all, Just been speaking to CW about how to get Automates Patch manager to install the creators update and their response was "you cant because you have to accept the EULA". Has anyone come up with a way to do this via Automate? Thanks Chris
  9. Been checking through the DB and cant see where there is a link between computers and their installed AV. Does anyone have a query for that? I effectively want to have a count and list of devices without AV and a pie of the AV breakdown across devices. IGNORE ME, I found it SELECT computers.computerid as `Computer Id`, computers.name as `Computer Name`, clients.name as `Client Name`, computers.domain as `Computer Domain`, computers.username as `Computer User`, IF(Computers.VirusScanner>0, 1, 0) as `Computer.Antivirus.IsInstalled` FROM Computers LEFT JOIN inv_operatingsystem ON (Computers.ComputerId=inv_operatingsystem.ComputerId) LEFT JOIN Clients ON (Computers.ClientId=Clients.ClientId) LEFT JOIN Locations ON (Computers.LocationId=Locations.LocationID) WHERE ((IF(Computers.VirusScanner>0, 1, 0)=0))
  10. Sorry if it was confusing, but basically I have a webhook using the SC Triggers. A customer opens the SC chat and types a message, as no host is connected in SC, a chat message is create in MS teams. The "Connect to PC" link is http://<<URL>>/Host#Access/All Machines//<<SC-GUID>> Using this link a technician can chat to the customer and help them out. (On our personally hosted SC) Since the integrated SC doesn't have individual logins to ScreenConnect this isnt an option. I also dont want techs to be going to ScreenConnect directly, I want them to be going via Automate as it encourages the use of it. I would rather have this a link fire up the Computer Screen on Automate. So the question is more around, how do I get a link to this page. This will allow me to add it to the ScreenConnect trigger.
  11. Hey Guys, We used ScreenConnect separate to LT for a while, and used a trigger to send a chat message to M$ Teams. Included in this was a link to the PC in ScreenConnect. We are phasing out ScreenConnect as its own service and are instead going to be using only the built in SC client with Automate. I want to have a way to re introduce the link so that the team can click this and land onto the Computer within Automate. Is there a way to generate this link easily? Buy default you get the computer name but not the computer ID. I am sure its possible with the default install to have Automate push across some additional custom propperties like the Automate Computer ID? Even with this, how can I have a link that will launch the computer page? Thanks Chris
  12. Hi Guys, I'm currently trying to add custom AV monitoring. Has anyone had any experience in this?
  13. Hi guys, I'm trying to create a script that can be run on a schedule that will create / update a local administrator account with a new password. These credentials should then be placed in the Passwords field within Automate Client. I've found a few scripts that can achieve this, like running a SQL query to inject the new password in to the table Automate DB. My question surrounds this process. If the user already exists, and the specified password is the same as what Automate currently has stored, is there a way to query this and simply do nothing if the passwords match? Is there a way to retrieve the password currently in the Passwords field of the client and check it against what the script has provided? I'm trying to run this script so each device will get the same password if they are the same client. I've attached the script I'm currently working on, any ideas would be great. Thanks CreateReset passwordRMM Account.xml
  14. Hey guys, is there a newer version of this around that works with LT 11? I imagine this still works, but would be nice having something using the new tiles or really on a location / client basis showing the overview
  15. I have run into the exact same issue. I narrowed it down to the fact that LT is installing, but not properly. There is something wrong with the remote deployment gubbins. The only way to get a deployment to work was to install from the EXE or MSI. As such I have started work on a script to deploy the MSI using PSExec. The issue I have run into is that the URL to download the MSI file for the specific location doesn't work unless you are logged into the portal. Anyone know of a way around this? Is there a switch to specify the Location ID as part of the installer? I don't really want to have to manage a repository of agents for every customer. The ConnectWise guys couldn't help me with this... when it installed via the MSI they wiped their hands with the issue.
