  1. HI All, I'm a noob to scripting and Automate. I need to run a script through automate that will search for a certain local admin and update its password. I've done this part already but it could use some work. Would be nice to check if the user has the correct password and if not then update to the new password we are using for our local admins. I also need a way to get notified that the password was updated successfully. Any suggestions would be much appreciated or any better way of doing what I already did.

    Alert When Agent Is Online

    Hi There, I notice that after a computer comes 'online' and trips the monitor and alert, the Extra Data Field gets blanked out. How would I go about changing this so we continue to get alerted if a computer comes online? (Example is if a computer comes online rarely and only for a few minutes, if we miss it the first time we'd like to continue getting alerted). Thanks for any help you can provide.
  3. As I mentioned, i receive the same message. Not to my knowledge and they are enabled.
  4. I am having LT alerts pop up routinely that say the on our one server that exchange message queue information failed. This is executed by the built-in ExchQueue.ps1 script found under Scripts/Maintainence/Exchange tree. The error I receive is Queue WMI Query Failed. I've copied the powershell over to the server, ran it as Admnistrator in Exchange Powershell, get the same message. Other than this, my exchange server seems to be fairly healthy.
  5. I'm going through this installation right now, tried to import the script using Expand XML, no idea where it ended up in my tree despite running a search for it. Also where or how do I specify my license, server, era location, etc. in it.
  6. Hi all, we employ a backup and recovery platform that hold a repository for its recovery data which uses the entire capacity of the disk which of course will trigger the disk space low Monitor. Our repository drive letter is not as consistent at this moment as we want it to be in the future, however the repository drives we'd like to disclude from the disk space monitoring script. We would however like to keep drive space monitoring for the system drive. EX: DRV - Free Space Remaining < 10% Total Size:9451 - %SystemName% 4513 F Now we have all of these backup boxes (one per client essentially) in a group with another monitor that checks for the state of the backup service. I know you can override on a per-agent or node basis, is there a way to override for a group on specific drives? EX: (Ignore/block Drive space monitoring on Drive G, F for all nodes within the backup group).
  7. We did our LT 10.5 to 11 upgrade on March 5th, 2017. The Approvals inventory did NOT import because apparently I was approving the patches in the wrong group...my bad, I know. We have caught up our Workstation patching, not a problem. But for Servers, the Approvals have not been updated...so we are seeing "0" approved patches for servers, even though they are all installed and current up to March 5th. I've heard there is a way to fix this in the database...any thoughts? I appreciate all responses and help! MZ
