  1. Wow awesome, will definitely take a look. Thanks for sharing back :)
  2. Interesting Joe. Unfortunately last time they updated SDM it took them 2 or 3 weeks to update that site But my script stopped working the same day because it was seeing the new version and quitting. I have removed the version check in the SDM settings.
  3. Here are searches for the known Windows 10 build. Sorry lacking some information... These searches are based off this wikipedia page : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_10 The searches will allow you to quickly how many computers are on a specific Windows 10 build. windows10builds.zip
  4. Ok so maybe my theory about the update is not good. Maybe 1709 is just good for the trashbin
  5. Can you guys confirm if you have the latest cumulative patch KB408588 I blocked it in automate but my computer got it since I am in the testing group. Issues started after this patch installed.
  6. @NeonBlueHDD I created the monitor in a group containing only Workstations.
  7. Hybrid sleep also known as fast boot can be a pain for updates. Customers shut down their computer but it actually doesn't really shutdown and doesn't install updates. I've created a monitor that detects the registry key and run a autofix script to disable this "useless" feature... https://github.com/limp15000/Disable-Fastboot Create a monitor for Windows 8 and more with the following checks : Registry Key HKLM%5cSYSTEM%5cCurrentControlSet%5cControl%5cSession+Manager%5cPower:HiberbootEnabled Equals 0
  8. A lot of machines sold by HP, Dell, Lenovo etc have a vpro and or AMT functionnality. In our case we've never used these "backdoors" for management. We decided that we simply wanted to disable this on all machines to close this potential issue. Here is the link to the intel advisory : https://security-center.intel.com/advisory.aspx?intelid=INTEL-SA-00075&languageid=en-fr Automate script and search can be found here : https://github.com/limp15000/DeprovisionIntelAMT If you have any comments or questions...
  9. Scripts have been updated on github ! Also added a script to push a BIOS password.
  10. New version of HP SDM. And if autoupdate is ticket this will break my script. Updating script with new versions. I've also unticked the autoupdate in my SDM settings and pushed this to all computers. No wonder my report wasn't working anymore. Of course HP didn't yet bother to update the links on their site.
  11. I am tweaking it a bit to detect French windows which of course report differently
  12. Big thanks One thing less on my to do list. Quite a pain to have three versions of Powershell. Testing your script on a couple machines then automating it... Edit : Tested on two Windows 7 and both failed : Unable to Install Windows Mgmt Framework Core (WinRM and Powershell 4.0). Windows is French I think...
  13. Here is the link from technet. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/de-DE/54231a86-56a8-444b-8601-c9a859d4db0f/anyone-else-working-with-hp-softpaqbased-driver-files?forum=mdt
  14. After some extensive tests I am now pushing to prod in our company today. If no issues arrise will push to all client workstations.
