    Script to update workstation hostname

Use the PowerShell Command as Admin function, and enter Rename-Computer -NewName "%clientid%-%assettag%" -Restart I use a similar command in my scripts except it's using a prefix parameter so if a Client named ACME was having a computer provisioned by us we would run the script and enter ACME as the prefix, effectively naming the computer ACME-(assettag pulled from Automate)

    Automate 12

I'll be on it as of Friday. Been veeery excited for this! They have a webinar for you if you don't know about it: https://connectwise.hubs.vidyard.com/watch/UW55Z52pvq4J8ucc5oJASo

    LabTechGeek Updates/Annoucements

This community has undeniably boosted my knowledge of LabTech/CWA and has a lot of wonderful people, including the admins I've had the pleasure of speaking with here and there. I look forward to seeing this community continue to grow and evolve, so I'll be donating on my lunch break. I just hope that with the push for the new name by ConnectWise doesn't affect the influx of new CWA users trying to find a forum such as this. I could understandably see new users look at LabTech Geek and think it's a forum for outdated versions or is generally defunct. Or never even see the site because they're searching for the new name specifically!
  4. Wonderful report! Much more concise for the client, and more relevant to them as we do monthly reports anyway. Question, though: When the checkbox is empty, does that mean it failed? Or is a patch that released in the last 30 days but was simply not installed for whatever reason.

    Question on AVG Cloudcare

Hey, I just addressed this issue with my implementation as well. I contacted support via live chat, they remoted in and imported two SQL files to enter new AVG entries in the Virus Scanner configurations. Then, deleted the Cache, logged back in and it reports properly. I don't have the files but it's a very quick fix.

    Grafana and Labtech

    Hi Kurt! No problem, here are the queries I've got for those two dashboards. CPU: SELECT pcstats.computerid, computers.name, pcstats.cpu, pcstats.mem, pcstats.datain, pcstats.dataout, IF(INSTR(computers.os, 'server')>0, 1, 0) as `Computer.OS.IsServer` FROM h_computerstats AS pcstats INNER JOIN computers ON labtech.pcstats.computerid=computers.computerid WHERE pcstats.cpu >=50 AND (IF(INSTR(computers.os, 'server')>0, 1, 0)<>0) And for RAM: SELECT pcstats.computerid, computers.name, pcstats.cpu, pcstats.mem, pcstats.datain, pcstats.dataout, IF(INSTR(computers.os, 'server')>0, 1, 0) as `Computer.OS.IsServer` FROM h_computerstats AS pcstats INNER JOIN computers ON labtech.pcstats.computerid=computers.computerid WHERE (pcstats.mem >=75) AND (IF(INSTR(computers.os, 'server')>0, 1, 0)<>0)

Installing MS Navision 2015 with Labtech

Have you tried Shell Enhanced as the LabTech script function? Have you tried using the debugger to see if it completes at all?

    Basic Patching Questions

Ed, the easiest method is probably just to not place them in any patching group at all. If they are forcefully brought in by autojoins you could make a patch group with these servers manually added, and then apply a patch and reboot policy that denies everything, and doesn't allow reboots.

    Slow Labtech Control Center

We get those hangs constantly. The Not Responding as well. Brought it up to consultant during part of our 40-hour allotted sessions and our guy said he's never heard of the problem... yeah, considering we had it since Day 1 -- I doubt it.

    Active Directory User List

Interest here as well! Would love to add this to our reports.

    Excluding Device from Patching

To cover my bases I created a patching group simply called Exclude from Patching. I place the servers to exclude in that group and I have a policy applied to it that denies everything, disallows reboots and has no Microsoft update policy.

    h_computerstats

I've been wondering this as well, because I have a dashboard on Grafana that pulls CPU and RAM usage from there for servers. It updates pretty frequently (and my page refreshes every 30s) so I think it is every agent check-in, 5 minutes.

Here's what I've got going so far for one of my dashboards:

Importing a JSON from this forum page (for which, thank you!) doesn't seem to bring the queries into the metrics on 4.3.2 :\ I'm also trying to figure out how to make the pie charts, graphs, etc. from scratch
  15. Compatible with Automate v11.0.353 Patch 10, just tested. This is some beautiful work. Thank you!
