  1. I wrote a script. It is pretty basic. The heart of the script is to download the MSI for Cisco VPN and then issue a Shell as Admin command: msiexec.exe /i "%ltsvcdir%\packages\CiscoVPNpackage.msi" /qn /norestart And then Registry Set Value: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CVirtA\DisplayName Value: Cisco Systems VPN Adapter for 64-bit Windows Pretty straight-forward.
  2. The latest Windows 10 Update (Oct 2018) killed Cisco VPN. Found an article and it looks pretty straight-forward to fix: https://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/149345-cisco-vpn-uninstalled-removed-by-windows-update I am wondering if anyone has written any scripts for this fix already -- and are willing to share. I am pretty certain how to proceed. I will check for Windows 10. I will check for Cisco Software Installed. Then I will do the download and repair and the registry edit... Thanks.

    Alert When Agent Is Online

To fix this issue, I created a copy of the script. When I deleted the original, it asked which script I wanted to replace it with. I chose the copy. Will report if there are any further issues.

I imported the script and then went to edit it and received the attached error message.
