  1. @DarrenWhite99 Thank you Sir... Just noticed this. I think i'm going to test..
  2. Sorry for the delayed response. I think i honestly need to do some research like you said. Just because if the file is too large i.e multipart it might require more work. I was just glancing over powershell and curl and noticed that they supported file posts and was going to try and do the same.
  3. How large of donation are we talking about? 😉
  4. No worries, What you've done so far is beautiful!! I was hoping to be lazy but it looks like I'll need to get started on my own plugin. Thanks
  5. Hey @bigdessert, does your plugin support the %uploadedfile% variable? Meaning can you post files with your plugin after they've been uploaded to the automate server? Thanks, Sean K
  6. Hello Everyone, I've been trying to upload a file from a client to the automate server and post the data to an external system. Right now, I've been converting my files to a base64 via powershell and posting the string but the string at times is too large and not all the data gets transferred. I was wondering if anyone else has tried doing a post with files that are uploaded using the scripting engine of Automate? If so would anyone be willing to guide me in a direction? Thanks, Sean K
  7. @MGreen Oh, i do trust Darren. He's been super helpful and has been able to help me with multiple issues so far. You guys always have great advice and are awesome. @DarrenWhite99 That is a really good point about multiple computer's being registered at the same time causing the automate db to lock. No clue how that slipped my mind. It's just tough as we have over 300 + support staff that will be installing systems, where today they can install and access the machine's immediately with our current software but once we move to Automate they have to wait anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Some of our staff is driving 3 to 6 hours to install this software and the worst part is that connectwise's response is just sit and wait, "because we have nothing better to do". Note: We're not an MSP and there is no one there to install the software for us and it requires some extra validation and testing on site for our machines. I wish i would have noticed this issue but during testing everything was done as system admin. Thanks, Sean K
  8. Is it possible to call "Refresh Searches" and or "Do Group Refresh" from within a script? I'm hoping it's something i can do in SQL. I have an internal monitor that detects when new computers are installed and i want to pragmatically call the refresh searches and groups to try and speed up the on-boarding processes. Thanks,
  9. Thank you!!! @bigdessert I had to unblock then restart the control center but it worked.
  10. Is it me or is cloud customers supported?
  11. My coworker was testing our walkthroughs and ran the Agent_Uninstall.exe to cleanup an install and shortly afterwards attempted to reinstall the Labtech / Automate Agent but nothing would happen. This occurred on two servers in our lab. We initially tried multiple things and found that the .msi would install without any issues but the .exe would not. From there we ran Agent_Install.exe /Log log.txt and output what was happening into a text file. The log outputted the following error - System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80004005): Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component. Further down in the message i noticed at RemoteAgentBootstrapper.RemoteAgentBootstrapper.setupSecondaryAgentMsi() which made me realize that the .exe was just installing an .msi with parameters. We started looking in C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\ and found about 4 folders. 2 that had LabTechRemoteAgent.msi and 2 that had LabTechRemoteAgent.exe. One of the folders that had .exe also contained a state.rsm file. Just as a hunch we moved the state.rsm file to the desktop and then the .exe started installing normally every time afterwards. I initially looked here - https://docs.connectwise.com/ConnectWise_Automate/ConnectWise_Automate_Documentation/040/060 but soon realized that it was not going to help us. I hope this helps others that face this issue. ~Sean K
