  1. I'm trying to set up a Wake on LAN script so that we can schedule automated WOL for patching, but it appears that the WOL script function is not functioning properly. I've gone through all the computer settings and made sure that WOL is working properly using a magic packet software, and I'm able to get it to boot just fine using that method. Is there anything additional that I need to set up in order for the script function to work properly? As of now it will just run, and report that it finished successfully but in reality it does not actually do anything. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  2. I'm confused. I'm trying to create this monitor but for some reason I'm seeing an entirely different monitor window. When I go to create a monitor this is the window I get: Is there somewhere else I need to go to create a monitor?
  3. I need a script that can check if windows is activated on a workstation, but I've got no idea where to even start. Does anyone know how to do this? [Edit] Just realized a search would probably be better... Not sure how to approach that either though. Any help is appreciated!
  4. I've downloaded an SQL file for a search that finds machines that do not have an activated copy of windows, but I have absolutely no clue how to import it into Automate to use it. Can someone help explain this? I haven't really been able to find anything on this either. File I downloaded:
  5. Does anybody know of a way to make a script that prompts the end user to reboot, and automatically reboots after 2 mins of inactivity. I haven't really been able to find anything on this.
  6. Yep I figured it out. Turns out I was just putting the installer into the wrong location. I was supposed to be putting it into LTShare\Transfer\Software\Dell Command Update. Thanks for the help
  7. I'm trying to use a script that downloads and installs/runs Dell Command Update. In order to do this, I need to put the 'Dell-Command-Update_2.4.0.exe' on the LTShare in "LTshare\Software\Dell Command Update\." I'm able to download any file that is placed into an already existing directory, but when I try to create a new directory and place the installer in there, it won't let me download the installer. Server Error: 404 - File or directory not found. I've already tried rebooting our Automate server and that did nothing. Any ideas as to why it won't let me download from a new directory?

So I created a search that shows the last check in date for some computers (Computer.LabTech.LastContactAge.Days) and I noticed that one of the machines says that it hasnt checked in for 38 days, however when I look for the machine in automate it says that it is online and I am able to remote into it using Control. Does anybody know of a way to search for computers that are not checking in with LabTech, but are still online?
  9. So I'm working on a script that joins a computer to a domain and puts it in a specified OU. The script requires credentials for a user with domain join rights. The account credentials are stored in Automate, how can I call to them? Whether it be using or a variable or something else... (I can't hard code the credentials because the script will be used for more than one client.)
