Hello Everyone, I am seeking some advise on how other MSP's work with customer devices and local administrator passwords? Do you use the same local admin password for all customers? Do you change these regularly? Do you use the same local admin password for all computers that a customer has? If customers don't have a server and all they have is their devices. How do you manage this on your networks? How do you work with the admin password with roll out scripts if you have all computers within 1 location but using different passwords? Thanks in advance for your help.
I have a few questions about how connectwise manages credentials: 1. Is connectwise using a service account to run scripts and commands or using the account you log in with? 2. When remotely managing clients are you using a local adm account that is shared among techs or are you creating an account for each technician on the remote DC and managing system with your own personal adm account? 3. Is there any capability in connectwise to administer credentials in a convenient secure way? (storing, and automating authentication for adm logon or even third party applications for clients) Thanks.
