Need some help here. We need to find ALL the browser versions installed in a client environment. I would have thought it would be a simple advanced searched looking for IE but it is not. We were able to use this to find Chrome and Mozilla but no combination of parameters seems to find IE. We even stumped Automate Support. I was going to try RegHog for this since it is a free plugin but no love there either. There is a simple Reg Query that pulls it but I have no easy way I know of to execute this against a couple hundred endpoints... reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer" /v svcVersion Any suggestions?? Thanks! Scott
I have two groups A and B. I would like to have Group A have an Autojoin Search for All Servers excluding any Servers which I would have manually added to Group B. Although I can easily get a search working for all servers, I could not find a condition in the Search Editor to exclude any servers from Group B. If the above is not possible and you know of a workaround I would appreciate it if you can share it? Thanks, Kevin
Hello! I would like to know if it is possible to create a Search based off of a SQL query? The Advanced Search options still do not allow access to views and more complicated searches. I have created a custom View inside the MySQL database and would like to query this to create a Search. When you create a search you can export as XML, when I open this there is a <SQL> part with a SELECT statement. Changed this to my SELECT statement but when I import nothing happens. Has anyone managed to do this?
Is it possible to remove or restrict access to the search functionality in Control Center? As far as I can tell the search permissions are disabled but the user still has access to search and load saved searches. This is for an internal IT employee for a specific company and I would prefer that they cannot see the other custom saved searches relating to other customers.
