Operators Dashboard

Recommended Posts

jjackson, you're absolutely right. I just fixed the issue and pushed the update to the website. You can get it from there and manually install or wait for it to auto update tonight.

Thanks!

Awesome, thank you very much tscheuing! This seems to have fixed it :).

A bit less impacting but relevant I think is the following.

When my other engineers close the dashboard they receive this error.

I used SQLSpy to see that this is happening when a REPLACE is run against the "plugin_sd_operators_dashboard_settings" table.

I have tried setting the permissions on this table manually, but it seems this is also wiped out over night. Any thoughts?

Thank you very much once again!

Hi guys,

I have the following SQL drill down statment that returns 24 results after excluding backup drive knows to be good:

Create Temporary Table Tcomp (INDEX (Computerid)) SELECT SubGroupwchildren.computerid,SubGroupwchildren.GroupID,Mastergroups.Priority FROM SubGroupwchildren JOIN Mastergroups USING(groupid) WHERE  FIND_IN_SET(SubGroupwchildren.groupid,'2,856,4,3,855,1008,1009,1014,1013,1006,1005') AND SubGroupwchildren.ComputerID NOT IN (Select ComputerID from AgentIgnore Where AgentID=9451);Select DISTINCT 'C',computers.computerid,computers.Name as ComputerName,Convert(CONCAT(clients.name,' ',locations.name) Using utf8) As Location, drives.`Free` as TestValue,drives.letter FROM ((drives LEFT JOIN Computers ON Computers.ComputerID=drives.ComputerID) LEFT JOIN Locations ON Locations.LocationID=Computers.Locationid) LEFT JOIN Clients ON Clients.ClientID=Computers.clientid JOIN AgentComputerData on Computers.ComputerID=AgentComputerData.ComputerID WHERE drives.`Free` < (Drives.Size*.10) AND  (Drives.Size > 25384 and Drives.FileSystem not in ('CDFS','UNKFS','DVDFS','FAT','FAT32','NetFS') and missing=0  and drives.driveid not in (819,5807, 2579, 2575, 3164, 4193, 59, 5512, 3661, 7065, 7066, 3442, 742, 4, 7186, 5003, 5015, 7239, 2321, 5752, 204, 3214, 2822, 239, 5199, 665, 7638, 4385, 2524, 3409, 5165, 2583, 2588, 3247, 3215, 4859, 9829, 1384, 2590))  AND Computers.ComputerID IN (Select Distinct ComputerID From Tcomp); Drop TEMPORARY Table Tcomp;

I have tried converting this in to the following count but this returns 54 results any ides whats going on? or what im doing wrong

SELECT COUNT(computerid) FROM drives WHERE free<((size-free)*.1)  AND filesystem='ntfs' and drives.driveid not in (819,5807, 2579, 2575, 3164, 4193, 59, 5512, 3661, 7065, 7066, 3442, 742, 4, 7186, 5003, 5015, 7239, 2321, 5752, 204, 3214, 2822, 239, 5199, 665, 7638, 4385, 2524, 3409, 5165, 2583, 2588, 3247, 3215, 4859, 9829, 1384, 2590)

I believe this is what you need:

Create Temporary Table Tcomp (INDEX (Computerid)) SELECT SubGroupwchildren.computerid,SubGroupwchildren.GroupID,Mastergroups.Priority FROM SubGroupwchildren JOIN Mastergroups USING(groupid) WHERE  FIND_IN_SET(SubGroupwchildren.groupid,'2,856,4,3,855,1008,1009,1014,1013,1006,1005') AND SubGroupwchildren.ComputerID NOT IN (Select ComputerID from AgentIgnore Where AgentID=9451);Select count(DISTINCT computers.computerid) FROM ((drives LEFT JOIN Computers ON Computers.ComputerID=drives.ComputerID) LEFT JOIN Locations ON Locations.LocationID=Computers.Locationid) LEFT JOIN Clients ON Clients.ClientID=Computers.clientid JOIN AgentComputerData on Computers.ComputerID=AgentComputerData.ComputerID WHERE drives.`Free` < (Drives.Size*.10) AND  (Drives.Size > 25384 and Drives.FileSystem not in ('CDFS','UNKFS','DVDFS','FAT','FAT32','NetFS') and missing=0  and drives.driveid not in (819,5807, 2579, 2575, 3164, 4193, 59, 5512, 3661, 7065, 7066, 3442, 742, 4, 7186, 5003, 5015, 7239, 2321, 5752, 204, 3214, 2822, 239, 5199, 665, 7638, 4385, 2524, 3409, 5165, 2583, 2588, 3247, 3215, 4859, 9829, 1384, 2590))  AND Computers.ComputerID IN (Select Distinct ComputerID From Tcomp); Drop TEMPORARY Table Tcomp;

I just modified the drill down query to get the count instead.

I have been trying to install this plugin, when I try to add it, I get the error that states: 'There was an error uploading the new plugin.' The only option is to click OK.

I am not able to get it installed, any suggestions?

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the tool, I have been using this for long and want to share this with team, Is it possible for users other than Super Admin to have access, although they can see the dashboard they can only see 2 of 10 tiles, is there a way we can control/fix it?

Please let us know.

Regards

Ram

Ram,

Non-super admins should be able to see any tiles that they are permitted to see from the queries. For example, if they are permitted to see all data in the computers table, and your query only references the computers table, they should see that tile. But if they are not permitted to see the Webroot tables and you reference any of those tables with your queries, the query won't work and the tile won't showup.

Thanks,

Tim
