Screen Connect 'Menu'

Question

I think i put this in the wrong section initially.

Right now we are on LT10 (great!) and have been using the LMI - GetHostID to pop the URL into a browser and it works great. Im trying to find a way to do the same thing with the Screen Connect option. Basically instead of opening the client computer, then clicking ScreenConnect, I would like to right click -> and select Screen Connect (like where LabVNC is). Im trying to take from some of the people that integrated it themselves but not having alot of success. I was hoping i could grab the script/button right out of the clientpc menu bar and just copy it into the context menu but not sure where to find it.

Any pointers appreciated ..

Yes it has nothing to do with what the plugin does, its just pulling the sessionID from an edf that you setup and the it runs a powershell command when you click the button.

Custom menus have been around a long time and are fully supported by LT, its not a plugin, custom menus is a built in tab in your dashboard under config>configurations>menus

I am currently unable to get this working under LT10. I believe it has to do with the EDF field missing the GUID

Look at the scripts in this post: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=446&start=75

Set the script to run on each of the agents to pull the GUID and put them into an EDF (You may have to update the script to put them into the edf that you have) If your using the ScreenConnect plugin with LT10 this does not populate an EDF, and instead stores the GUID in a database table. You will have to populate the EDF using the script in the post above.

Thanks. I really appreciate this. I am running into a new issues now however. The Screenconnect GET GUID script is failing on Step 5 with the following:

The script(5254) failed in the THEN section at step 5

Start Screenconnect Get GUID

IF Software Installed Parameter1: %screenconnect% Parameter2: Parameter3: Time Taken: 34051.9816858

L1 Shell Parameters Hidden Time Taken: 34052.086695

L2 Variable Set Parameter1: 0 Parameter2: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Curr Parameter3: scstring Time Taken: 34056.1967083

L3 Script String Functions Parameter1: 22 Parameter2: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Screen Parameter3: = Time Taken: 34059.3017347

L4 Script String Functions Parameter1: 0 Parameter2: 432ca15d-c618-40b3-a4bc-87c8e1 Parameter3: 36 Time Taken: 34059.402742

L5 ExtraData Set Value Parameter1: 5bd6af1a-78bb-11e3-8993-00155d Parameter2: 4980 Parameter3: 432ca15d-c618-40b3-a4bc-87c8e1 Time Taken: 34059.5037332

I have created 2 EDF fields and can see them under the default tab

Screenconnect GUID

ScreeenConnect Linked

When I try to edit the script I cant even look at step 5 and get the following error:

error loading script: Syntax error: Missing operand after 'bd6af1a' operator

Any help is appreciated!

I had the same error. I just deleted step 5 and re-created it myself and was successful.
