Agent Checkin - Check info from Probe

I believe this is a built in monitor regarding the LT-Agents check-in.  What I'm wondering, as an attempt to re-mediate this is to pull from the network probe on the client site to see if the MAC address has been scanned within the last couple days. From this I would like to see if the agent then can be reinstalled.  Is this possible?
