0xFFFFFFFF80D05001 error during patching

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I see this error crop up quite regularly in patching jobs.  The excessively long code aside, does anyone know what causes this?  I can't find anything useful online relating to it.

Patch jobs show info like this:

Log Details:
Windows Update Version 10.0.17134.254
Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4462930) could not be downloaded, but will be reattempted.
Microsoft Silverlight (KB4481252) could not be downloaded, but will be reattempted.
2018-10 Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4100347) could not be downloaded, but will be reattempted.
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 - March 2019 (KB890830) could not be downloaded, but will be reattempted.
2019-03 Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4489907) could not be downloaded, but will be reattempted.
2019-03 Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4023057) could not be downloaded, but will be reattempted.

... and in the info at the top of the patching info I see this error code listed several times, once per patch.

Tim.

I literally just spotted the fact that the updates could not be downloaded.  Is that what the error relates to?
