Forcing an Automate agent template change

I have made changes to one of my client agent templates and I have forced a remote agent update onto a test machine twice, but cannot get the changes to show.  I have also done a forced agent restart. to no avail. Why is the change not showing and if this is just a Time issue on the Automate Server side that I do not control... how can I speed the deployment of changing agent templates?
